Manchester is a major city in the northwest of England with a rich industrial heritage. It is also home to the famous Manchester United and the Old Trafford Stadium. For this trip, I got the chance to see my two friends who were on a study abroad exchange in Calgary, Canada two years ago. It was a pleasure to see old friends and to finally be the tourist and have them showed me around.
I also traveled with Mega Bus; again, very affordable prices for a one-day trip at just £10-12 for a round-trip ticket. The journey was about 2-2.5 hours from Coventry to Manchester; I arrived very early in the morning and headed back by night time.
