Stratford-upon-Avon, a medieval market town in England’s West Midlands, is the 16th-century birthplace of William Shakespeare. The little town has a lot of very old buildings, like Shakespeare’s house, for example. There were people dressed in medieval costumes and playing music. It was a very humble experience to have witnessed the birthplace of this great writer and I can see why it attracts a lot of tourists.
I had the pleasure of trying out my very first Yorkshire pudding at Cox’s Yard. Yorkshire Pudding is an English pastry (rather than a pudding) that is usually served with a roast meal (roast beef, turkey or chicken with potatoes, gravy and roasted vegetables). The British eats Roast Dinner, or also known as Sunday Roast, usually on Sunday’s and it is definitely one of my favourite meal here in England.
